What are the prices different than in the restaurant?
Treehouse Deliveries use to implement a business model that allowed restaurant to decide how much they wanted to mark up their menu to assure that they received a profit on the order. As of Oct 2020, we have pivoted to a model that incorporates the same menu prices in the restaurant, however the restaurant has control over the service fee that is charged to the customer.
***NOTE: We are still in the process of updating all the menus so that it reflects this model. So some menus are a mix of the old method, and the new method.
What are all of these fees?
Let me walk you through everything you will see on your ticket:
1. Items and Sales Tax: Normal everything!
2. Service Fee Washington Bag Fee: This is the amount of money that Treehouse collects to operate our own business. This is what we have for Business Operations. Each restaurant will be different because they are in control of the total service fee for their location. As of October 01, 2021, we are required to charge a taxable $0.08 bag fee per order for every order being placed through Treehouse. This $0.08 %2B 9% Sales Tax is passed on to the restaurant at the end of the month when we can process all the orders and give it to them on one check. 3. Delivery Fee: This goes 100% to the driver. Drivers are 1099 Indepenent contractors. They are not guaranteed an hourly wage, so their commission per delivery is 100% Delivery Fee annd 100% Tip.
No Contact Orders
If you select No-Contact orders, please note that you are responsible for collecting the food in a timely manner from your drop off location. Drivers will knock and ring the doorbell, where applicable. If they have dropped at the correct address, the responsibility is on the customer to retrieve the item in a timely manner. What is Treehouse Deliveries?
Treehouse Deliveries is a restaurant marketing firm that helps bridge the gap between restaurants, indepenent drivers, and customers in Spokane. We partner with Restaurants and Independent drivers around Spokane and coordinate food delivery using our technology platform. As a customer, you can place an order through our website, our mobile apps, or by calling the office at 509-290-6281.
How do I place an order? Do you deliver to my address?
You can input your address into the homepage of Treehouse Deliveries, or in the Android/Apple App, or call the office and have a dispatcher take your order.
We delivery to the Great Spokane Area:
Spokane, Colbert, Liberty Lake, Airway Heights, Cheney, Latah Valley, and any place in between.
How long does it take for delivery?
Our current average delivery time in Spokane is 35-45 minutes, depending on the restaurant. Please note, that each restaurant has a different cook time, and can be busy during peak hours of the week. Our staff will do our best to make sure you are informed when orders will slower out of the kitchens of restaurants.
What are my payment options?
* Residential/Hotel: Cash and Credit Cards.
* Corporate: Cash, Credit Card, Business Checks (Address must match delivery address)
Please note that, drivers will carry only $20 in change. They will not be able to break big bills.
***NOTE: If you do not pay for your cash order in full, you will be blacklisted and blocked from ordering from Treehosue in the future until you pay the amount owed in full.
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover credit cards. The card being used and photo ID must be presented upon delivery and a signature will be required.
Can I order from multiple restaurants?
At the moment, no you cannot on the same ticket. Each restaurant would need it's own individual order. We are looking for a better solution in the near future.
Mandatory 10% Gratuity
Our partnered drivers are independent contractors, and their compensation is the full delivery fee and the tip. As a collective they have elected to no longer take deliveries that do not have a tip attached to them.
Customer accounts will now be allowed to not tip up to 3 times. After the 3rd non-tip is reported, there will be a mandatory 10% gratuity added to the account.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
Orders can only be modified or cancelled up until they are being prepared in the kitchen of the restaurant. If you need to cancel or make changes to an advanced order, call 509-290-6281 and a customer service representative will assist you.
Make sure to call the office in a timely manner to get the edits you are requesting.
Are gift cards refundable?
All gift card sales are final. They are non-refundable, make sure you want to complete the service before you purchase.
I have a problem with my order. What should I do?
If there are any problems with your order, please call us ASAP once the order has been delivered. We will confirm with the restaurant regarding the mistake. Once we verify with the restaurant that the problem was on their end, we will either coordinate with your self-employed delivery professional to re-deliver the missing/incorrect item, or refund you the amount. If your delivery professional has to re-deliver, please give the driver the incorrect item. If the incorrect item was correct after inspection, you will be charged for both items.
